PBW (Professionals in Black & White) March

To our professional members and friends:

The Government’s consultation exercise on the replacement mechanism is about to expire, but the concerned document has distorted public opinions and reversed “black” and “white”. It is obvious that the Government deprives the public of their electoral rights, therefore undermining the core values that Hong Kong people have been cherishing for long.

In view of the imminence of the situation, The Professional Commons is making an appeal to all professionals to attend the PBW (Professionals in Black & White) March. This is a March-in-silence and it is expected to start from the Legislative Council Building with the New Government Secretariat as the destination. The details of the march are as follows:

Date : 18 September 2011

Time : 3 pm (to be completed in one hour)

Point to meet: Outside the Legislative Council Building (facing the Chater Garden)

Topic : Upholding of professional core values, against the replacement mechanism

What to wear: White shirt with black suit or coat (symbolizing clear alignment of black and white, against the distortion of what is right and what is wrong)

To strengthen our voices, we cordially invite your participation. Please do invite all your professional friends to join as well.
