Government’s Approach to the Development of Sustainable Lighting – Castle in the Air: In the 2008-09 Policy Address, the Chief Executive has committed that, “to promote the use of more energy-efficient lighting products, we will study the need to restrict the sale of incandescent light bulbs”. Despite the fact that the Policy Address has already been published for months, neither the Environment Bureau nor the Environmental Protection Department has any indication on how to advance the respective proposal.
